Privacy policy
Draft. This text will be reviewed before trustmy opens to everyone.
This explains what information trustmy processes, why, and what rights you and your contacts have. trustmy is the controller for account data and the processor for the contacts and messages you add.
What we process
About you as a customer: name, email, company name and a hashed version of your password.
About your contacts: phone number, name and any fields you add, plus when and how they gave consent.
About messages: recipient, text, status (queued, sent, delivered, failed) and timestamps. Replies are stored so they can appear in your inbox.
Why
To provide the service: send your messages, show status and replies, and honour opt-outs (STOP).
The legal basis is our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). For your contacts you are the controller and need consent when sending marketing (Danish Marketing Practices Act § 10).
Where data lives
Data is stored in a Cloudflare database restricted to the EU. Messages are sent from Danish mobile phones over Danish mobile networks.
We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
How long
Message texts are deleted after 90 days. Your account and contacts are kept until you delete them or close the account. Opt-outs are kept as long as needed to honour them.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
